Well then why is it cold?

When people say, “Well we’re having an really cold season so global warming ain’t real”:

Please don’t misunderstand, climate and weather are different. Pointing to one cold day or season and saying AHA, CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE is rather counterproductive and generally a terrible approach to science.

There is and always will be a lot of variation in our complex weather systems. What matters is the global trend.

    Yah Smarty pant why is sooo cold if its getting hotter… explain that one. Oh wait you just did…. never-mind…

    this week you can just show them the forecast … we go from last weeks temps to this weeks near 50? A little strange is you ask me…
